Tiselius, Arne Wilhelm Kaurin

Tiselius, Arne Wilhelm Kaurin (1902-1971), Swedish biochemist and Nobel laureate. Tiselius was born in Stockholm and educated at the University of Uppsala.Tiselius was awarded the 1948 Nobel Prize for Chemistry for his work on the separation of colloids through electrophoresis, the transport of charged particles through a stationary liquid under the influence of an electric field, for which he used an apparatus known as the Tiselius tube.
